about us

"Shortcuts lead to shortcomings." --Angelica Grace Gilbert

I am a 35 year old mother of one amazing boy and wife to a hardworking husband who also currently works from home. He’s literally my in-house IT guy, for which I am very grateful. I have enjoyed creative writing since grade school and I think that stemmed from being an avid reader with a gluttonous appetite for the written word.

I have a BS degree in Psychology with five years of work experience as an MHT and five years work experience as a teacher. After having my son, my husband and I made the decision for me to stay home with our son. Soon after, my husband was offered a remote work job and I decided to pursue my passion for writing. So now we share an office and spend a lot more time together!

I will not use car salesman techniques promising you acts of miracles. I will, however, vow to work honestly and meticulously to produce research-driven work. I draw from personal knowledge and experience as well as expert advice to provide quality content that meets your needs.

A Little Grace

  • My middle name is Grace… but I’m extremely clumsy.
  • I have raised ducks, kids, dogs…. but NOT plants. Plants I kill.
  • I sang choir in school and church– I’m an apologetic soprano who tried to conceal her natural vibrato.
  •  I’m a southpaw, but that gives me absolutely zero advantage in sports– I have zero coordination. Also, I’m not very sporty.
  • I have written hundreds of pages of content for multiple books but STILL dreaming up new ideas.
  • I Love buying new books, but my To-Be-Read pile is in serious need of pruning.
  • I love my dogs more than most people.
  • I love learning new things and tackling mental challenges– after having my coffee of course!
